Turn event leads into follow-ups for approval

After the event Dash takes the scanned leads, matches them against the CRM, separates genuinely new contacts from existing accounts, and drafts a follow-up per lead that references the session they actually attended, all held for approval.

@Dash 340 badge scans from last week. Can you get them into follow-ups?

Processed all 340. The split matters more than the total.

  • New contacts · 128
  • Already in the CRM against an open opportunity · 61
  • Already a customer · 84
  • Duplicate scans of the same badge · 52
  • Unreadable or incomplete · 15
The 61 on open opportunities should not get the new lead follow-up. They already have an owner, and a generic "great to meet you" from marketing while a rep is mid deal is how a good week at an event becomes an awkward call. I have routed those to their owners instead, as a note, not an email.

The 84 customers are a customer success signal rather than a sales one, so they are listed for the CS team with the sessions they attended.

Good. What do the 128 drafts look like?

One per contact, each referencing the session they were scanned at rather than the event in general, because "you attended the operations panel" is checkable and "great to see you at the show" is not. Where someone attended more than one session I have used the last.

Fifteen unreadable scans have no email address at all. I have not guessed at them from company name, and I would rather hand you fifteen blanks than fifteen wrong people.

All 128 are held for approval in a single batch. Nothing has been sent.
