Build the full partner brief before the call

Before a partner conversation Dash assembles what they bought last time, what was delivered, what is still outstanding and what they asked for and did not get, so the call starts from the record instead of from whoever remembers most.

Third year as a partner. Here is the whole relationship on one page.

What they bought · headline tier last year, mid tier the two years before · three activations, two speaking slots, one dinner
What was delivered · all three activations, one of two speaking slots
The undelivered slot is the thing to raise first. Their second speaker was moved to a smaller room eleven days out because of a schedule change on our side. They accepted it at the time. It was never made good, and there is nothing on the account acknowledging it.

What they asked for and did not get

  • Attendee list access before the event, twice, declined both times on policy grounds
  • A branded session on the main stage rather than the partner track

Who you are talking to · their marketing lead is new since March and was not there for last year, so the room downgrade is a story she has heard rather than lived.

Do we know what they spent versus the tier price?

Yes, and it is on the brief with the discount and who approved it. Last year they came in below the headline tier rate on a two year commitment, which means the renewal conversation is really a re-pricing conversation, and the room downgrade sits awkwardly in the middle of it.

Every figure links to the record. Nothing has been sent to them.
